We are not the owners of Creation - humans are guests and stewards, not owners of Creation. At CCMI, we are committed to preserve and protect God's Earth and strive to practice sustainability and improve our environmental footprint.
Specifically, we commit to:

Reduce, reuse and recycle
To help us achieve this goal, we have placed recycle bins in all high-traffic and demand areas of the church and partnered with Ridwell for the more difficult to recycle items. Our congregation shares in this, and is invited to bring items for Ridwell to take away every week.
Installation of solar power on our church roof
This was done in 2020 and we can provide the majority of our energy needs through our solar panels, which aids in reducing our carbon footprint.

Provide information and guidance to help others
We have stalls at local markets to spread the word of environmental ministry. We are happy to share any knowledge and experience we have regarding reducing our impact on God's Earth and protecting the resources we have been given to safeguard.
