Welcome to
the Congregational Church on Mercer Island
We seek to provide a safe spiritual home for all
As progressive Christians, we:

-
Believe that following the way and teachings of Jesus leads to experiencing sacredness, wholeness, and unity of all life.
-
Seek community that is inclusive of all people, honoring differences in theological perspective, age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, class, or ability.
-
Strive for peace and justice among all people.
-
Embrace the insights of contemporary science and strive to protect the earth and ensure its integrity and sustainability.
-
Commit to a path of life-long learning, believing that there is more value in questioning than in absolutes.
WORSHIP
Psalm 75:1 "We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds."
Worship is a time to join in the community to connect with the sacred through scripture, contemporary writings and poetry, and inspiring sermons.
As a progressive Christian church, we welcome all, no matter where you are on our faith journey, toward greater understanding and love of God.

Worship with us in person or via Zoom every Sunday at 10:30 am.
MUSIC
Psalm 100:1 "Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!"
Music serves as a significant spiritual and emotional component of our service, combining a variety of musical traditions including classical, traditional folk, and contemporary gospel.

We are very fortunate to have a highly acclaimed Artistic Director, Deeji Killian, who leads the choir. Our choir is fun, high energy and is open to all, so please click below to read more and come and join us!
