CLIMATE ACTION

Our annual potluck to welcome back our choir will be Sunday, September 15. When we share meals at church let’s try to be conscious of our “climate diet”. Start thinking of a plant-based dish you can share. Maybe you can include a vegetable or fruit from a fall farmers’ market. SAVE GOD’S EARTH

CCMI members have generously supported the Treehouse organization for several years and the Outreach committee is again giving you the opportunity to donate to their “Back to School” drive for foster kids. Donations of backpacks, jeans, T shirts, jackets, etc. will be gratefully accepted until Sept. 15th Thank you for your generosity!

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Thursday, September 5 10:30 a.m. A 9-week Thursday morning women’s Bible study, God’s Promise: I Am With You, begins Thursday, September 5th at 10:30am. Nine women are registered with Jinny Sewall as facilitator. If you would like to join, please contact Jinny Sewall or 206-232-0299 so a study guide can be ordered.

VOCALPATH STUDIO RECITAL Sunday, August 25 2:00 p.m. CCMI members are all invited to the voice studio recital this coming Sunday Aug 25th at 2 pm at CCMI. The recital will have 6 students, kids to adults including Megan Renae Parker, who will be sharing songs from musical theater to opera!
