Flowers: Kathy Rule
Refreshments: Cheryl Malcham
Tuesdays beginning March 5

New book group at the church! We will read Shameless: A Sexual Reformation by Nadia Bolz-Weber, which was just published on January 29. Buy it from Island Books or Amazon. Roberta has several other books in mind, and she’s open to suggestions! The idea is to meet twice a month, one book per month, with each of us noting passages we’d like to discuss.

Reach out
We grieve with our United Methodist brothers and sisters at the decision of their national denomination to continue banning LGBTQ people from ordination and barring same-sex weddings in their churches. The attached prayer by the Rev. Steve Garnaas-Holmes expresses what many of them are feeling. If you have any Methodist friends, please reach out to them.
