Community in Action: Sock it to Homelessness with Operation Nightwatch now!

What a difference a new pair of socks can make to someone with with feet, struggling to survive, day-to-day.

Operation Nightwatch, a Seattle Shelter and Ministry for 45 years, receives our donations of new white socks and dark, knitted hats for the many homeless men and women in Seattle.

We are collecting new, white, athletic socks for Operation Nightwatch for the homeless in Seattle. Our goal is 3000 pairs - that's a lot. We are more than half way through our goal and we invite the community to join us. The sock drive ends November 19th!

Please bring socks and put them in the box in our entryway. Or make a donation - we have a supplier that will sell us 12 pairs of socks for $8! Write a check payable to CCMI with "socks" written in the memo line, or give online at www.ucc-ccmi.org.

Care for the poor. Share earthly and spiritual resources. Be the Church.
